About Us

Page & Proper began at the United States Naval Academy, where we — Quincy and Katie Page — met during our first summer in 2012. The Academy taught us discipline, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence, values that carried us through our years as officers in the U.S. Navy. Katie served as a Naval Flight Officer in the E/A-18G Growler; Quincy as a Naval Aviator in the P-8A Poseidon.

It was Katie's uncle — the craftsman behind 1014 Leatherworks in Matthews, North Carolina — who lit the spark for Page & Proper. Watching him build handcrafted leather goods with such care, we saw a natural connection to the precision we'd valued in the military. Every product we make today, in partnership with 1014 Leatherworks, carries that same standard.
