About Us

Our story begins at the United States Naval Academy, where we, Quincy and Katie Page, met during our freshman summer in 2012. The Academy instilled in us a commitment to discipline, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence—qualities that defined our years as officers in the U.S. Navy. Katie served as a Naval Flight Officer in the E/A-18G Growler, while Quincy continues to serve. 

The spark for Page & Proper came from Katie’s uncle, the artisan behind 1014 Leatherworks in Matthews, North Carolina. His dedication to creating handcrafted leather goods inspired us to blend the precision and quality we valued in our military careers with the artistry and tradition of bespoke craftsmanship. Today, every product we create in partnership with 1014 Leatherworks is a testament to that blend.
